#9 Knitting Rules by Stephanie Pearl-McPhee
I'm about 2 years behind everyone else in reading this. I found it very Zimmerman-y...which I adore. There are several ideas for projects that you can run with and not feel guilty for not following a pattern. As always: laugh out loud funny! What she says is just so ... validating and makes me feel not so crazy.

I'm a sucker for Christie-esque mysteries (meaning not heavy on CSI, big city cop plots). I like quaint little shops and small town charm.
